Chess, like life, is an existential struggle played until checkmate ends the game; the board is then cleared and another begins in an unending cycle of survival. This is where the journey starts in this large scale allegory.

This 17 colour silkscreen is made on a heavyweight 300 gram handmade paper from St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The print is created by printing each colour separately, gradually building up the image.
