‘Moving in Mysterious Ways’ is a large narrative etching which depicts a number of people and animals moving mysteriously and is darkly comedic. The print takes its starting point from Christian terminology and iconography. There are five nuns, four of whom are levitating towards an open church entrance. Inside the church a levitating figure with out stretched arms waits to greet them. Is this a godly priest or deathly apparition? Surrounding the figures are a large number of animals; a school of angel fish swim out of the church, birds fly upside down, a serpent slithers down the church walls, a dog shimmies and so on.

This print is made on a copper plate. It is printed on Somerset Velvet, a heavyweight 300 grammes handmade paper from St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The print is signed and numbered by the artist.
